In the distance he saw it.
The wind and rain was coming
The Raven looked to his mate
Then flew into the storm

At first it was nice and light
He play in the winds
But slowly he moved further
And play no more he did

The winds were strong, The lightning crashed
Around the little bird
But he kept on flying just as he had done
When he started this quest

He looked about with tiny eyes
For any sign of land
But as he flewblew and tumbled
He couldn't see at all

The storm grew worse, his heart a flutter
Straining against the wind
But it suddenly stopped, was his quest complete?
No, he was in the centre

He took a breath he had a rest
His path half way done
The storm was still enraged
But he would be the victor

Looking around he found a marker
Which showed him when he was going
Another breath, and a beat of his wings
And the second half had started

He tried and tried and was tossed and turned
But the wind and what was blown with it
But he was determined, he had a plan
And he would now overcome it

He ducked and weaved, using the storm itself
To move him to his goal
He didn't fight, he let it blow
And the gusts of wind did help him

Before he knew it the winds were slowing
The quest almost complete
The wind was lighter the land was seen
And the knew that he was the winner

He kept on his path, not gloating or taunting
For the storm was a worthy opponent
As he left it's pull and looked back at it
He said a small thank you

For he had done what his dreams did say
He had tackled all obstructions
He never gave up, he stuck to his guns
And he had finished what he had started

Now if we look apon this quest
As something to strive for
We all will live interesting lives
And have all our dreams forfilled

So when you see a little raven
Watching from afar
Please don't you taunt or make fun of him
Cause he's done more than you know
